He is a master pastellist with the Pastel Society of Australia. His work could best be described as contemporary impressionism – realism, but he tends to push the boundaries of colour and tone. His paintings might have green, yellow or pink skies, blue roads or purple sand and shadows. It makes them vibrant and, with judicious layering, even luminous.
This workshop will be held at Chris’s studio in Landsborough, and he will be demonstrating some of his techniques before encouraging you to create your own pastel work. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the pastel masters right here on the Sunshine Coast.
