The June Open Studio Trail
Three of our members are welcoming visitors to their warm studios on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June. Come and meet artists Kaye Leach, Judi Parkinson, and Christine Elcoate. Their combined art practices demonstrate an amazing variety of skills: eco dying, pottery, sculpture, watercolours, acrylics, oils, cyanotypes, ceramics, fabric art, videography, and photography. Doors will be open from 10am until 4pm both days.
This trail runs across The Blackall Range from Maleny to Flaxton. The perfect occasion to visit the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for a beautiful winter’s drive, meet our artists and buy some amazing artworks for your home or as gifts. There are also cozy, delightful coffee shops and restaurants to enjoy along the way.

Kaye Leach – Ceramic Artist and Painter
As you enter the circular drive which has plenty of off street parking as well as wheelchair access, you will notice my sculptures scattered throughout the gardens. Entry to my studio is through the red door where you will find a display of all my artwork.

Judi Parkinson – Artist and Photographer
My studio is nestled in our backyard. The mezzanine floor is my craft and hobby nook, while downstairs provides work spaces for my photography and painting. There is a separate gallery area for browsing. Reverse parking is available along the driveway. There’s a short walk to the top of the drive and then wander along the lawn as you enjoy the rose gardens.
There is limited parking and turning at the top of the driveway so we prefer to keep the area free for disabled access please. Bus turning is further down the street at a T-intersection.
