Jewellery, Mixed Media, Painting, Sculpture, WEAVING

Art resides deep down in my soul and I graduated from a prestigious art college in the ’60s.

Working with fabrics was always a passion and so fashion design became my career of choice; a career that lasted for many decades.

Ceramics, jewelry making, weaving, and painting have been hobbies of mine since my art school days.

Today, I consider myself more of an artist, than a fashion designer.

With art, I find my spiritual balance, I love exploring nature’s plethora of natural shapes and colours, enhancing the creativity that comes through in my art.

Needless to say, all things organic and natural inspire me to create my pieces of art.

Presently I’m into abstract art, with muted tones on canvas or paper

I use various media, including watercolors, acrylics, inks, charcoal, pens, pencils, and collage.

More About Me

Well, I have always been interested in design and grew up with an artist mother whose career ended up in fashion design. At the age of 16, I went to Art College in Johannesburg South Africa

Left college Traveled Europe for a while …. On returning I decided to go into fashion design myself

Later I got into ceramics, silver jewelry, clay jewelry. After about 10 years I started my own fashion business up to 2007 when I emigrated to Australia…. Had a bundle of fun with my children and grandchildren until I needed to be creative again.

Started by making amazing sand bowls and then progressed onto weaving and am now crazy about Abstract painting in all sorts of different media.
