More About Me
Having recently returned in earnest after time away from my brushes, I am loving the space to delight in the natural world around me, with fresh eyes.
I am using this time to truly see and feel my landscape with a quest to do good work, trusted and solid work. It is a return to my true love of the landscape and how I see it. I am reunited with my much-loved watercolour landscapes and a new and exciting adventure into oil landscapes.
After years on a creative journey into all types of themes, mediums and topics, including children’s book illustrating, curating, gallery management and art teaching, I find myself back where I truly feel I belong, in my natural wonderful landscape, hands on the brushes, mind engaged, focused on a desire to do my best work, to be my best.
I am traversing and observing the lights, shadows, tangled brush, majestic trees, glistening waterways, vast and many colourful skies and vistas in this beautiful Australian landscape. I am on a quest to make good composition that will pull you into place and time, a memory, a moment, a fleeting promise where you find joy in the simple quiet places.
