Robert has over 30 years’ art making experience since graduating from the Qld College of Art and describes his art making as ever evolving. He credits his willingness to explore media in new and evolving ways as paramount to his developing practice.
Robert has worked in a variety of media and techniques including; painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, printmaking and installation.
Robert has formal teaching qualifications and has enjoyed teaching art to a broad range of students in schools (Australian and overseas) and a variety of community and adult workshop settings.
In drawing and painting, Robert has received numerous awards including highly commended awards in the Caloundra Art and Craft Festival and winning the Open award for his painting at the Gympie Gold Rush Art Festival.
Robert has exhibited in Australian and overseas and his work his held in several private collections.
