JEWELLERY, PAINTING
I’m an acrylic painter and enamellist. Both my artwork and jewellery are colourful and quirky, and are inspired by life’s simple pleasures. I am very interested in the use of colour and how – like music – it has the ability to uplift and excite the viewer.

More About Me
Buderim artist Teresa Mundt began her career as a freelance cartoonist in her early 20s, and later began painting with acrylics. Her cartooning background has left an obvious and strong imprint on her current style, and Teresa’s quirky artworks are a stylised fusion of caricature and bold colour.
Teresa’s work depicts the minutia of everyday life, exploring the themes of joy, contentment, and life’s simple pleasures. Her most recent collection of streetscape paintings is her response to the world post-COVID, and was inspired by her experiences and observations during lockdown and throughout the upheaval of 2020.
Teresa conducts regular acrylic painting workshops across south east Queensland, and beginners enamel workshops from her home studio in Buderim. She regularly displays her work in galleries and group art exhibitions across Queensland. Her works are represented in collections in Australia and overseas.
