I am primarily working in acrylics and pastels and enjoy the use of strong colours in modern land and seascapes and still-lifes.
I love the landscapes of Queensland art legend John Rigby and also the still-lifes of Criss Canning. I have been lucky enough to study pastels with Leonie Duff and Max Wilks, two of Australias best known pastellists, as well as acrylics with Mignon Parker at the McGregor Schools in Toowoomba.
Travelling both in Australia and Overseas provides continuing inspiration and of course my art provides an excuse for more travel.
