Originally trained at the London College of Fashion in clothing technology, my work has evolved over the years from solely working with fabric to now having a passion for leather.
My inspiration comes from my travels and the nature around me here on the Sunshine Coast. The design process then often begins with an idea floating in my head, which occasionally I’ll put
down on paper, but more often than not, I will jump straight into the pattern making and move on from
Detail is a top priority for me which is reflected very much so in the leather work, where
my bags are highlighted with etchings and cut out designs, often complimented with stud work.
I have used a variety of leathers in the past but more recently have been pulled towards the use of kangaroo as not only is it great to work with but is the most sustainable leather you can use.
A keen supporter of slow fashion and a simpler lifestyle, my aim is to produce unique pieces of a high quality that will last and be loved.
