Living a creative and sustainable life is important to me. I love making things by hand and value quality over quantity. For me, sewing is a form of meditation; the act of creation transports me to a peaceful state, providing a remedy for the chaos of modern life. I am passionate about working with textiles and utilise recycled fabrics whenever possible. My aim is to find harmony in life and with my surroundings. Reverence for the natural world informs my art practice, influenced by its beauty and the interconnectedness of life.

More About You
I was born in northern New South Wales. One of my earliest childhood memories is playing with fabric and beads while my mother sewed. My love for textiles began at a young age! I enjoyed a simple country childhood with plenty of time to let my imagination wander and create. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Tasmania. In addition to participating in numerous artist exhibitions, I have diverse experience ranging from working in a museum to facilitating workshops.
