Richard Muldoon, ACI PresidentSculpture On The Edge is happening at Spicers Tamarind Maleny until October 13th. Do support ACI and the participating artists by attending, and purchase one of our beautiful catalogues. They feature full colour images of the artworks, artist statements, and a map of the exhibition, for just $10!

Also open right now is our annual ACI group exhibition, this year entitled Elemental. Your support, if you are able to get to the the fabulous Graydon Gallery in New Farm Brisbane, would be greatly appreciated, particularly for the Opening night this Friday 4th October. I’m honoured to be included in this show amongst great ACI member artists, and proud to be representing Sunshine Coast art in Brisbane.

Thirdly I would draw your attention to Arts Connect Inc.’s Annual General Meeting being held on Thursday October 24th from 5:30pm at Maple 3 Cafe. Our AGM is an excellent social networking opportunity, but even more, we would also love to see anyone attend who might like to join us on our fabulous committee.

Volunteering for organisations such as Arts Connect Inc, a not for profit entity, is becoming a less popular life choice for many today as life is so busy. For my part I love being part of a wonderful group of passionate artists who are dedicated to delivering enriching experiences to local artists. Please attend the AGM and join the best committee on the coast. We’d love hear the ideas you have and how you would like to help us deliver our core objectives in 2020.

Finally don’t forget we have two workshops this month, one with Jim Cox and the other with Wayne Malkin. Check out details further below, or on our Facebook page, website, or on Eventbrite – here for Jim, and here for Wayne.

With so much on, you’d be mad to not to get involved!!
