PRINTMAKING, sculpture, TEXTILES, PAPER MANIPULATION
The group was formed in 1987, meeting once a month to investigate the many techniques of textile art but specialising in silk painting and fabric dyeing. Moving forward over 30 years, the group has a membership of 25 plus enthusiastic fibre artists that now meet weekly.

The artists are highly skill and have had work in national and international exhibitions. Workshops are held throughout the year keeping artists in touch with the trends in contemporary textile art. Artists explore and experiment in many interdisciplinary techniques such as silk painting, shibori and indigo dyeing, eco printing and eco dyeing, weaving, batik, felting, hand and machine embroidery, collage/mixed media and the manipulation of paper and fibre.
