CERAMICS
I am a ceramic artist based in Maleny, Queensland. Originally from Chile, I create both functional and decorative ceramics that blend organic forms, earthy textures, and playful glazes, each piece a unique expression of my love for nature and slow, intentional making.
MEDIA
My practice includes both functional wares, such as mugs, bowls, and everyday vessels and decorative and sculptural pieces, which are where my passion truly lies. I love the freedom of form that sculpture allows and the opportunity to tell a story through shape and surface. I also enjoy experimenting with glazes to explore texture, contrast, and colour, often combining glossy finishes with matte, or vibrant tones with earthy, grounded hues.

Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. Growing up in Chile, I was immersed in the world of art thanks to my mother, a talented artist who encouraged me to explore freely and make with my hands. That early influence continues to shape my work today, often subtly woven with the warmth of my Latin roots.
After nearly 20 years of living in Australia, I gave myself permission to pursue a long-held dream, working with clay. I quickly fell in love with the meditative pace of hand-building and the freedom it brings. My work is inspired by the natural world: the flow of water, the textures of stone, the colours of the earth. I enjoy playing with contrast, glossy vs. matte, vibrant vs. grounded and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Each vessel or sculpture is made slowly with care and intention. Through my work, I hope to share beauty, joy, and a sense of connection, whether it’s through a lovingly used mug or a decorative piece that sparks curiosity and wonder.
