I draw on the aesthetics of nature. Inspired by the calmness within, but also, the dynamic forces as evident in our landforms. I continue to develop my unique expressive language.

More About You
Following on from a Glass Major at Sydney College of Arts, I learnt the skills of glass sandcasting, which has seen me working in teams here in Australia, as well as Seattle and Wanganui.
My inquisitive nature has led me to learn from some extremely talented artists – Paul Hopmeier: welded sculpture; Vlase Nikoleski: bronze casting; and Michael Vayman : wax modelling. I was fortunate enough to gain some assistance to attend Pilchuck (International) School of Glass for a 3 week Flameworking class with Masami Koda instructing.
The results have been exhibited within Australia – with sales mainly through members shows with AUSGLASS (where I was at one time NSW State Rep), The Sculptors Society and Sculpture Queensland.
Since moving to the Sunshine Coast I have completed a Diploma Visual Arts where I started developing my Ceramic and Painting skills.
I’ve been delighted to accept the People’s choice award at the inaugural Northern Beaches (Sydney) Stony Range Botanic Gardens Sculpture Prize, and more recently, the Penketh Sculpture Prize (through SCArt).
Playing with sculptural materials remains my premier focus as I continue my exploration in the language of contemplation and questioning.
