The Beyond Bunya Dieback Exhibition 2025 brings together a powerful collection of works from local, interstate, and international artists, including First Nations artists, to explore the significance of Bunya/Bonyi trees, the impact of dieback pathogens, and the fragile ecosystems of the Glasshouse Mountains. Through a diverse range of mediums, artists will respond to the theme of resilience, loss, and the deep cultural and ecological connections to these ancient trees.

This group exhibition will be held at The Little Red Cottage (an ACI member collective), above Forest Heart ecoNursery in Maleny, as part of the Beyond Bunya Dieback program. Running from Wednesday 5th to Wednesday 19th March, the exhibition is a key event alongside the Beyond Bunya Dieback Symposium on March 14th, where scientists, Traditional Custodians, and conservationists will come together to share knowledge and strategies for protecting Country.

Join us for the exhibition launch event on Saturday 8th March to celebrate the artists, hear their insights, and reflect on the importance of community-driven conservation.

This exhibition is an invitation to connect, learn, and take action to protect our iconic Bunya trees and the ecosystems they support.
