What to bring: Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, everything else is provided.

Discover the luscious/seductive rich qualities of the cold wax medium, oil paints, pigments and other mixed media by exploring new techniques to progressively build up layered abstract paintings. The emphasis will be on the basic understanding of supports, tools, materials. composition and techniques. An atmosphere of experimentation will be fostered. There will be demonstrations and informal discussion about allowing the work to gradually unfold.
