Gel Plate Printing Workshops

Discover the playful and creative world of mono printing in this Gel Plate Printing Workshop – Mono Printing with Gelli Plates workshop, designed especially for beginners.

In this half-day session, you’ll explore printing techniques using either a homemade gel plate or a purchased Gelli plate. You’ll learn how to create one-of-a-kind mono prints using acrylic paint, stencils, string, and everyday objects found around your home. The focus is on experimentation, layering, and enjoying the process rather than perfection.

These prints can be used in a variety of ways, including artwork, journals, card making, and mixed media projects. This workshop can be a stand alone or use your gel plate prints in the next workshop “Creating a handmade journal” in March 2026 and “Flowers from Kaos” where we create a mixed media canvas in May 2026.

This is a relaxed, supportive introduction to gel plate printing that encourages creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
