Where: Sunshine Coast Art Group 1 William Parker Pl, Buderim, QLD 4556
More Information: Facebook Events
Bookings: This Form
Price: $115 (If booking into both wearable art classes that day a $15 discount will be applied to the total.)
What To Bring: It is advised that participants bring their own heat gun as I do not have enough for a full class, aprons are optional. Cotton gloves will be available for handling the warm worbla.
This workshop will cover basics and safety aspects of working with a variety of thermoplastics, apoxie sculpt and more. Students will create a vambrace (or pair) from Worbla in their own design and learn about how to incorporate apoxie sculpt, thermoplastic pellets and stones into their piece and learn about paint and finishing techniques.
Students can choose to create a different piece however the vambrace will allow students to learn a variety of techniques rather than spending time thinking of a design and it’s structure.
They may be able to create other pieces from the scraps of their worbla sheet post workshop.
A seperate workshop will be held later in the day covering EVA foam.
