This year’s prize money pool totals $6,500 with the first prize awarded $5,000

Sculpture on the Edge is a contemporary three-dimensional (3D) award exhibition, presented by Arts Connect Inc in the Sunshine Coast’s Hinterland over 16 days from 31st October – 15th November 2020.

The exhibition has been presented at Spicers Tamarind Retreat since 2012, and we are proud to have the continued support of Spicers Tamarind Retreat as a major sponsor and event host.

Sophy Blake To Bee Or Not To Bee, 2019.

Sculpture on the Edge invites submissions from artists to design site-specific sculpture/s to be installed and nestled amongst the tranquil natural surrounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast’s Hinterland.

Artists are encouraged to exercise their artistic expression and freedom, but note the following.

Entry Submissions close Friday, 2nd October. Your entry can consist of a description of your work in progress, concept drawings, and/or photographs of partially completed or completed work.

Your supporting documentation should be comprehensive and include the required information outlined below.

  • Name, dimensions and description of 3D Work entered
  • Support images of completed work or partly completed work
  • Any specific information regarding installation
  • An artist CV bio
