More About You
I’m a contemporary abstract artist working intuitively: no sketches, no fixed plan, just instinct guiding each layer. My paintings are built through a process of building, removing, and reworking, and I’m drawn to how texture and material can hold a sense of time and place.
Born in the Netherlands, I’ve lived over a decade abroad, including five years in Bali and four in Singapore, before relocating to the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
I’m happiest outdoors – barefoot in the grass, close to nature – and that connection shapes everything I make. It’s part of why the Sunshine Coast feels like home, and why the landscape here is already finding its way into new work.
