Elusive moments with an element of intrigue are captured in Jennie’s paintings. Her subject matter focuses on women, often accompanied by the beach, clothing, or relationships.
Jennie’s paintings have been exhibited at the 40 Under 40 Exhibition at The Butter Factory, The Brisbane Affordable Art Fair, and the Small Scale Art Award at Lethbridge Gallery.
She has been Live Sketching at Events since 2023, combining her drawing skills from working as an Animation Artist in Canada, her eye for fashion, enhanced while living in Italy, and a quest for meaning which ultimately brought her to Australia.

More About You
Some of my artworks feature mermaids in lavish fashions, and often in some kind of distress. While humans are part animal on the inside, it’s easy to forget and disconnect from this side of our biology.
Mermaids combine both human and animal elements visually which allows for the creation of some thought provoking images as to what it means to be wild, civilized, or both.
I will have some new original mermaid artworks available at Open Studios as well as silk screened apparel with mermaid shells and other designs.
