Though a relative latecomer to painting, I have had a wealth of life experiences that have fed my creative spirit, and which now feed my art. Interior design, landscape gardening, upholstery, leather bag design and manufacture, bodywork, and farming to name a few. I give thanks and gratitude to my lover, mother, aunts, sisters, nieces, brother, and sisters-in-law, whose talents in music, painting, sculpture, photography, poetry, and ceramics have all been a big influence on me and the way I choose to see the world.
