As we step into this new season of creativity and innovation, I am reminded of the profound words of French artist Henri Matisse, ‘creativity is courage’. This is a powerful statement that expresses the essence of what it means to be truly creative. It takes immense courage to express your creativity, to pursue what you are passionate about, and to transcend the boundaries of your comfort zone or the constraints of irrational fears. I wanted to applaud all those who participated in our Open Studios whether you were a participant, a partner, a sponsor, a friend or family member or a visitor, well done everyone involved, it was a huge and worthwhile effort.
