Celebrating the Success and Value of Open Studios

We are thrilled to share the resounding success of this year’s Open Studios event! Our heartfelt thanks go out to our Coordinator Lea Parkes and her husband Greg who have given us so much support in the coordination of this event.
We want to also thank everyone who participated, from our talented artists to our enthusiastic visitors, and of course, our incredible sponsors.
Open Studios has once again proven to be an invaluable platform for our artists. It provided a unique opportunity for established and emerging artists, as well as passionate hobbyists, to connect with new audiences, showcase their creativity, and sell their work. This event has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant artistic community and nurturing the talents that shape our cultural landscape.
For our visitors, Open Studios offered a rare glimpse into the creative process, allowing them to engage directly with artists in their own environments. It was inspiring to see so many people appreciating the diverse array of art forms, from painting and sculpture to music and writing. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors expressing how deeply they were moved by the passion and dedication of our artists.
The value of Open Studios extends beyond the immediate connections and sales. It has provided artists with new insights, understandings, and inspiration to continue their creative journeys. For many, it has been a source of motivation and encouragement, affirming the importance of their work and its impact on others.
