CERAMICS

Trained in the UK at art school, I began my creative journey as a silversmith and jewellery artist, drawn to the delicate interplay of form, texture, and detail. Over time, my passion for tactile materials and organic beauty led me to expand into the world of ceramics, where I now work as both a ceramic artist and sculptor.

Inspired by the ocean, coral reefs, and the ever-changing colours and textures of nature, my pieces reflect a deep connection to the coastal environment. Each work—whether functional or sculptural—is a celebration of form, surface, and story, infused with movement, rhythm, and natural elegance.

MEDIA

I work with earthenware clays and completed with various colour glaze combinations. My light sculptures come with various types of lighting media including fine LEDs to app operated lighting.

More About You

After studying Ceramics and fine art in Nottingham, UK, I then moved into the silversmithing and jewellery design world.
I relocated to Australia 15 years ago and started Saltwater Silver. Two years ago I fell back into ceramics as a form of art therapy.
My ceramics form the love I have of the Ocean world beneath the waves, the beautiful coral structures, textures and colours are my inspiration.
My work is tactile and highly textural, both pleasing to hand and eye whilst being functional.
