SCULPTURE
I first found stained glass 30 years ago, after the birth of my youngest child. Life was full, and I needed something belonged quietly to me. I found it in glass, in choosing colours, holding them to the light and watching them come alive.
Looking back, though I think glass found me much earlier. Stained glass windows, with their shifting colours and light, are woven into some of my earliest memories. I didn’t know then that they were leaving an impression, only now can I see how quietly they stayed with me.

More About You
Life gets busy, and over the years there have been times when stained glass has had to wait, but somehow, I have always found my way back to it. Working with colour has become a kind of therapy for me. A place where I can follow instinct, lose myself in the process and see where the glass takes me.
Inspiration often comes from the smallest things around me, changing light, colours in nature, a shape, a texture, a story, or something I can’t quite explain but simply feel drawn to.
More recently, I have started learning blacksmithing and collaborating with a blacksmith. I love the contrast between forged metal and glass, one strong and grounded, the other so fragile, yet alive with colour and light.
Bringing them together feels like a new chapter in a creative story that perhaps without me realising it, began a very long time ago.
