As a creative person Sue’s artistic expression has been a life long passion. Over the last 15 years she has been working with feathers. These feathers have been ethically sourced. Sue’s wall art breathes new life & energy into birds by recycling their magnificent feathers, and preserving them in perspex.

More About You
Sue grew up in the country, married and moved 120km down the road! She was always a collector of bits & bobs, especially feathers, rocks and furniture. Her other love was travel, especially Italy, art, architecture, buildings lets not forget the food & joyful people…..
All throughout her life she has done courses in many different mediums of art, she would say “Jack of all trades, master of none” – a love of creativity…
June 2015 Sue required a kidney transplant (very kindly donated by her husband) it was during this period of illness she started playing with her collected feathers. One of the courses she had done was making perspex boxes, hence the frames. Friends organized a small exhibition and her career began. She joined Instagram, sold her work to the UK, UAE, USA, held exhibitions in Brisbane, Maryborough, Goondiwindi. She now has a studio at her home.
