More About You

Ofa Fanaika, a vocalist and songwriter from Brisbane, is the creative force behind Susustudios. She began her pottery journey in 2019 at Clay School under Master Potter Ray Cavill, developing a unique style in functional tableware. Ofa established her home studio in 2020 and has involved young people in pottery through a small school at Albert Park Flexible Learning Centre. Her work, which blends functionality with sculpture, was exhibited in 2022 at Milani Gallery, inspired by the Buddhist philosophy R.A.I.N. In 2023, she showcased a mourning totem, Tangi, at the Old Ambulance Station, honoring her late mother’s influence.
