PAINTING, TEXTILES
I am a self-taught artist based in Maleny. I have always dabbled in artistic pursuits and started painting in oils in 2006. Through this medium I like to capture the myriad shades and moods of the ocean. My artwork reflects my passion for the beach and conveys deep emotional connections. Through my paintings, I aim to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature and its fragility. I also like to weave with sea grasses and plants and grasses growing in my area. I make small sculptures and lamp shades.
MEDIA
Oils on canvas, linen and denim.

More About You
With every painting I create, I hope to evoke a sense of connection and emotion in my audience. My work is informed by the changing seasons, the time of day, and the beauty found in even the most overlooked moments. I am a firm believer in the conservation of our natural world, and I try to use my art as a vessel to raise awareness around important environmental issues. Whether it is through the texture of the canvas or the vibrancy of the paint, my goal is to create art that speaks to people on a deep and personal level.
My paintings reflect my love for the beach, the ocean and everything in between. They capture the beauty and serenity of these natural wonders, and I hope to inspire others with my art. However, as an artist and an Australian citizen, I can’t ignore the impact of climate change and pollution on our environment. Every day, our beaches are in danger of being destroyed by human activity. That’s why I contribute a portion of my painting proceeds to Greenpeace, an organisation that fights for the future of our planet. I urge you to do the same and join the fight to protect our natural heritage.
