Sculpture on the Edge

Sculpture on the Edge has been a collaborative event between Arts Connect Inc. and Sunshine Coast Spicers over a four year period. Since 2011 sculptures have been exhibited in the grounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat, Maleny and open to the public over a 2 month period.

2014 saw the initiation of the Spicers Sculpture Award with prize money of $5000. The award was shared by 2 pieces: The Dancers  by Kaya Sulc, Eumundi; and ‘Lighf Boat’ by Greg Windsor, Mapleton.

In 2015, Sculpture on the Edge is a significant partnership with SCCouncil, Spicers Tamarind and Arts Connect Inc. Award prize money will be First Place: $10,000.  ‘Commended’ and ‘People Choice’ prizes will also be  awarded.
