The Arts Connect Inc Management Committee is an exciting and dynamic team, dedicated to connecting members with creative opportunities. We are volunteers committed to the growth and promotion of the Arts on the Sunshine Coast.
The current Arts Connect Inc Management Committee
Traci is a Sunshine Coast–based multidisciplinary artist whose creative foundations began in textiles with various craft disciplines and fashion. Her practice now spans drawing, painting, and resin work. She is passionate about building a supportive, inclusive creative community. Traci also brings over 25 years of senior leadership and governance experience to her role as President.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts & Visual Culture and has been a driving force at ACI for over five years. Her roles include Newsletter Editor, Exhibitions and Open Studios Coordinator, and three terms managing Sculpture on the Edge. Now serving as President, Jen champions arts growth and community connection.
Michelle brings a solid background in not‑for‑profit governance, shaped through her experience in governance practices plus her governance roles with not-for-profits like RSL Queensland and yourtown. In those roles she leads and advises on a range of governance processes especially for information. Additionally, Michelle has experience with a number of volunteer committees, performing similar activities to the secretary as well as fostering exciting for the committee’s outcome.
A long‑time art lover, Michelle is excited to support ACI and be part of a committee that celebrates creativity across the Sunshine Coast.
Peter served as chairman and non-executive director for a range of major organisations, including Sunsuper, Suncorp and Medibank Private.
A man of many interests, Peter completed a Master of Visual Art at Griffith University in 2012 and exhibited his work regularly between 2006 and 2013, while also chairing the Queensland Centre for Photography.

Jane is a self-taught hand sculptor who likes to work in most types of clay. She has recently started working with porcelain & is enjoying where it’s taking her sculptures & experimenting with it.
Claudia is an artist and sculptor, primarily focusing on ceramic and wood mediums. She holds a degree from the Munich art school for wood and stone sculpture. Since residing in Australia, she has actively participated in numerous events, showcasing and selling her art. Her aspiration is to support and foster the dynamic and inspiring local arts community.
Cheryl lives and works on the Sunshine Coast as a Park Ranger. She is passionate about protecting the environment, music and creativity so these elements came together in her artwork – recycling guitar strings that would go to landfill! Cheryl also looks after ACI membership matters.
Isabel helps run First Class Accounts Sun Central, providing professional bookkeeping services. Her work involves her in not-for-profit sectors, disability services, local councils, schools and hospitality, so her skill set covers everything from payroll, BAS and GST compliance, training, strategic and operational management to quality control.
