PAINTER
Mary has recently retired from her career as a Commercial Lawyer. She is now following her other passion and enjoying the world of Art. As an emerging Artist based in Maleny she is discovering her love of both contemporary and intuitive styles of Art.
Her work is constantly evolving as she loves to create contemporary landscapes which reflect our beautiful country. Mary and her family lived in the Northern Territory many years ago and has travelled extensively both overseas and around Australia. Her inspiration comes from the unpredictable oceans and stunning escarpment country of the Northern Territory, the Tiwi Islands as well as the many other wonderful landscapes our country has to offer. The earth has so much soul and she seeks to capture that feeling in her own unique way.

As a student of the Megan Bice Art Studio in Maleny, Mary is developing her own unique style of painting contemporary landscapes, which is a reflection of her inner artist spirit and deep love of the land. Mary hopes her Art will touch the soul of others who share a passion and affinity with our beautiful and blessed country.
Exhibitions
Mary has exhibited and sold paintings at the Maleny Arts and Craft Fairs in Maleny as well as at the “Collaborations” Exhibition at the Matthew Flinders Art Gallery on Bribie Island.
She was invited to exhibit at the Ochre Medical Centre in Coral Street Maleny and currently has a substantial number of paintings in a joint Exhibition with Jim Goulton. This Exhibition runs until Easter 2020 and all paintings are for sale.
