I’m an expressionist artist and arts health author living in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. My creative practice is based in the studio spaces at The Joy Collective in Maleny.
You can find me at 37 Coral Street, painting mostly free-flowing abstracts, creating digital art, and exploring mixed media and textiles.
My practice involves tuning in to how I feel on the day and how I want to express myself. I do this by sharing my love for vibrant, layering textures and diverse colour palettes.
My work mostly consists of a fluid nature.

More About Me
I’ve always been a creative soul. From art classes in my youth to studying Business/ Computer-based Art and Design at the University of the Sunshine Coast. It’s through my mental health and well-being journey that I’ve really honored my creative practice.
My creativity plays an important part in keeping me grounded and my mental health in check. It’s my safe haven. It gives me a routine where I can consistently show up, achieve, explore and grow.
I’m passionate about the growth of individuals’ creativity. I assist in supporting and helping others find and recognise their authentic creative style through guidance chats, coaching, and mentoring.
My values shine through in the Risso Creative brand. These values are; creativity, innovation, continuous learning, embracing one’s individual style, and fostering and nurturing creative relationships.
It is my mission to consistently show up in my creative practice with joy, passion, and love.
