Most days you will find me hand-making shoes for feet great and small, one pair at a time, from my home workshop set against the beautiful backdrop of Mount Coolum. I like to focus on creating unique shoes that are personal, simple and practical. Most of all? I love empowering people to make their own shoes.
Thatâs why I have created some beginner-friendly shoe-making workshops and kits. Now you can make your own sneakers, espadrilles, clogs – and wallets too, alongside a small group of craft lovers or in the comfort of your own home.
I have created some very simple workshops and kits to make your own wallets, sneakers, espadrilles and yes clogs.
For first-timers, the idea can sound a little intimidating. But I’m on a mission to bring this timeless craft to anyone – yes, ANYONE – who wants to learn; either here in my workshop or in the comfort of your home.

Hi! I’m Jen or Jenma, I have 3 beautiful children who are all grown up and 4 beautiful grandchildren who have inspired me to create Lil Soles.
All our products are designed by me and are handmade with love and good vibes here on the sunshine coast, Queensland Australia.
My Vision has always been to create a product that is timeless with handmade qualities and are loved by those who wear them.
Lil Soles shoes were first conceived in 1986 when my baby girl Kyla walked at just over 7 months. I couldnât find any shoes anywhere that was suitable, she was so small all the conventional shoes were so hard, with no flexibility. Back then we were known as Talkin’ Feet.
Fast forward, I was lucky enough to be given grandchildren and the passion to create for little babes returned and was reborn as Lil Soles, and now Talkin Feet Studio where I teach simple workshops.
