The workshop will cover basics and safety aspects of working with metal, as well as showing you how you can use readily available supplies and tools to create fabulous pieces. Students will learn the basics of cutting, filing and pressing designs into aluminium.

They will create a bookmark or wrist cuff and can use metal paints or leave the piece simple. If time permits they can press a pair of earrings OR a necklace/keyfob pendant. Students will also learn about how this process can be applied to upcycling aluminium cans into jewellery or art pieces.

Additional supplies can be purchased during the workshop if wishing to create further pieces.
