I hope this message finds you well and creatively inspired! I’d like to begin with a special thank you to Kim Griffiths, our talented newsletter editor, who is stepping down after her incredible work in delivering our monthly updates. Kim, your dedication and skill have been greatly appreciated by all of us at Arts Connect Inc. and beyond. You’ve truly kept our community connected, and we are grateful for all that you’ve done!
That means we are looking for a newsletter editor, if that’s you, please get in touch.
As we look ahead, our signature event, Sculpture on the Edge, is fast approaching, with less than a week left for registrations. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now is the time! We’re also on the lookout for volunteers and invite you to consider contributing your time to help make this event a success. Additionally, we are offering advertising opportunities in the event catalogue—perfect for anyone looking to promote their business while supporting the arts.
I’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors. Without your generous support, events like Sculpture on the Edge wouldn’t be possible. Your contributions help us continue our mission of fostering creativity and connection in the Sunshine Coast arts community.
As we move forward, it’s important that we stay focused on growing our team. We need more members to join us, especially for our Open Studios Working Committee. There’s help needed in all sorts of places if we are to continue, such as workshops, social media and more. Please get in touch if you think you can assist. Your participation is what keeps the wheels turning, and together, we can continue to create a thriving environment for both emerging and established artists.
