President’s Report November 2022

Hello fellow artists, art lovers and friends,

The countdown is on! Only two weeks to go until the opening of sculpture on the edge.

Please come and join us and consider helping a ACI by volunteering to meet and greet visitors. https://signup.com/go/aBvfmhJ

We also invite you to our events…

The Sculpted Dinner is going to be a night unlike any other, with wearable art, Kari’s inflatable illuminated installations, music by Louise sling and Kim Kirkman and an incredible banquet of edible creations by internationally renowned chef, Alan Thompson.

Sculpture on the Edge 2022 has been a huge project and we are really excited to bring you the biggest art event in the region.

Please follow, like and share our new Facebook page SculptureontheEdgeSC and our Instagram @sculptureontheedge

The bigger we can grow our network, the more traction it will have, the better we can promote ACI and our artists. We appreciate all your support.

We have also been planning Open Studios for next year and the form will go live in the coming week.

The AGM is fast approaching and we are calling for new members to the committee. The work is really rewarding and best of all you get to know a lot of the ACI members. Please think about participating and helping to build a stronger art community.

A huge thank you to our secretary, Jen Braithwaite, our marketing coordinator, Rebecca Grisman, our social media assistant, Amber Hasted, our treasurer, Julie Churchward and assistant treasurer, Isabel Hooper. You are doing an amazing job preparing for Sculpture on the Edge and I really appreciate your hard work and dedication. Things have been ramping up and I am so happy with our awesome squad.

Looking forward to seeing you at Flaxton Gardens.

Gretchen.
