President’s Report

President’s Note…

Hello Artists, supporters and friends!

The Arts Connect Exhibitions Coordinator has been busy organising our next member show planned for September, “DISH”. See below for details.

See below for details of members solo shows on this month. Robyn Muche was the judge for the 2021 Sculpture On the Edge and her show Les Animaliers will be celebrating nature and showcasing work produced over the 40 year collaborative partnership between her and her late partner Bodo. You may recognise many of your favourite artists in Molly Galpin’s exhibition, including a number of ACI members! Jim Cox, co-founder of Arts Connect will be holding a fantastic show in July (details in the next newsletter).

Sculpture on the Edge will be going ahead in mid November. If you would like to get involved on the organising team, or as a partner, or advertiser please email me directly president@artsconnectinc.com.au I would love to hear from you!

I am out and about judging the Immanuel Arts Festival this coming week, and speaking at Fairholme’s Facets Arts Festival in Toowoomba. Good luck to all of the entrants I look forward to seeing your amazing work.

A huge thank you to Michele Sternberg at Sunny Coast Times for her great article, spreading the word about our vision for Arts Connect Inc and the Sunshine Coast (link at bottom).

We have some exciting announcements afoot and will be releasing more detailed information in the next newsletter. Wishing you a great week ahead.

Best wishes,
Gretchen.
